Racing Incident Report

SUNSHINE BOY was slow to begin.
TELECOM TOP STAR, JUST GOOD and FLYING KEEPER were crowded for room at the start between DRAGON PINS which shifted in and JACK’S GEM which was taken out by SOLAR BOY.
PILLOWIN began awkwardly.
At the 200 Metres, ALP’S GLORY and JACK’S GEM bumped, resulting in JACK’S GEM becoming badly unbalanced and shifting out, causing ALP’S GLORY to be taken out and racing tight inside DRAGON PINS.
For the majority of the race, JOYFUL WINNER II travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. A veterinary inspection of JOYFUL WINNER II immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of JOYFUL WINNER II, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, JOYFUL WINNER II will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that DRAGON PINS had lost its right front plate, that JUST GOOD had lost its left front plate and that SUNSHINE BOY was lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SUNSHINE BOY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of FLYING KEEPER, SOLAR BOY and JACK’S GEM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
