Racing Incident Report

SPEEDY SANDY began awkwardly.
Shortly after the start, EXCEL ONESELF became unbalanced after bumping with EASY AHEAD.
From a wide barrier, CARRY THE ZEAL was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Approaching the 800 Metres, EXPEDITE was steadied away from the heels of JADE PIPPO which was taken in by LOADS OF JOY (K C Leung) which shifted in when not quite clear. K C Leung was advised to exercise more care in future.
Passing the 800 Metres, EXCEL ONESELF was hampered when crowded for room inside LOADS OF JOY which, after shifting in, then got its head on the side and shifted in further when racing tight inside PALEPALE. K C Leung was reprimanded and advised that in similar circumstances he makes every effort to leave sufficient room for runners to his inside.
Near the 750 Metres, HURRY HURRY UP was awkwardly placed close to the heels of PALEPALE.
Making the first turn, EXPEDITE commenced to prove very difficult to settle and shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of JADE PIPPO. EXPEDITE continued to get its head up, shifted ground outwards and made the turn very awkwardly until after the 400 Metres. The racing manners of EXPEDITE were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, EXPEDITE will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend.
In the Straight, EXPEDITE got its head on the side and lay in under pressure.
Throughout the race, SPEEDY SANDY travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of JADE PIPPO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of JADE PIPPO, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, JADE PIPPO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of CARRY THE ZEAL and EXPEDITE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HURRY HURRY UP and EASY AHEAD were sent for sampling.
