Racing Incident Report

From wide barriers, ROBUST MOMENTUM and ACTIVISM were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Shortly after the start, DRAGON BACHELOR raced tight between TELEPHATIA and OXFORD CHARLEY which got its head on the side and shifted in.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages, CHERYL’S HORSE was slow to muster speed.
In the early stages, LOVING STAR was left racing very wide and without cover and near the 1200 Metres was allowed to improve its position to race outside the lead.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, ROBUST MOMENTUM got its head up when awkwardly place close to the heels of OXFORD CHARLEY.
After the 1000 Metres, DRAGON was left racing wide and without cover.
Rounding the Home Turn, ROBUST MOMENTUM and FOLLOW THE WIND raced tight as ROBUST MOMENTUM shifted out. Then shortly after entering the Straight, FOLLOW THE WIND was bumped by ROBUST MOMENTUM which shifted out away from the heels of DRAGON which shifted out after becoming unbalanced.
At the entrance to the Straight, LOVING STAR, which was commencing to give ground, was steadied away from the heels of SPIRIT SOARING which shifted out.
Passing the 400 Metres, DRAGON BACHELOR was awkwardly placed inside the heels of TELEPHATIA.
Near the 350 Metres, OXFORD CHARLEY was shifted out away from the heels of ACTIVISM.
A veterinary inspection of CHERYL’S HORSE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
FIGHTING BOY and OXFORD CHARLEY were sent for sampling.
