Racing Incident Report
SUPERNATURAL was withdrawn on 6.5.17 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter FUN MANAGER (H Bowman). Before being allowed to race again, SUPERNATURAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
On arrival at the Start, it was noted that BONITO had blood at its mouth. BONITO was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
YOURTHEONEFORME shifted in at the start and bumped FANTASTICLIFE. A short distance after the start, FANTASTICLIFE was awkwardly placed outside the heels of LIGHTNING AND GOLD.
Shortly after the start, BONITO was steadied away from the heels of KING OF SMARTS which shifted in. In this incident, KING OF SMARTS got its head on the side and shifted in further after being bumped on the hindquarters by BONITO.
From wide barriers, LUCKY FRIENDS and EQUITY DOCTRINE were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
After the 800 Metres, AH BO raced with its head on the side and near the 650 Metres hung out onto the heels of LIGHTNING AND GOLD, resulting in AH BO being steadied and losing ground.
At the entrance to the Straight, FORTUNE GIGGLES was awkwardly placed close to the heels of BONITO.
Approaching the 200 Metres, FUN MANAGER momentarily raced tight between KING OF SMARTS which was giving ground abruptly and FORTUNE GIGGLES which shifted in after racing tight inside BONITO.
LUCKY FRIENDS lay in under pressure in the Home Straight.
Throughout the race, YOURTHEWONFORME travelled wide and without cover.
HIT A HOME RUN and UNIQUE JOYFUL were sent for sampling.
