1 11 MIGHTY COMMANDER (J360) Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 6 PERFECTDAY (K238) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when crowded between SUGAR SUGAR and FRIENDS OF SHAJING which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 12 CALIFORNIA BLITZ (J370) Leaving the 600 Metres lay out when reluctant to hold its position to the inside of SYMBOL OF STRENGTH and as a result made contact with FRIENDS OF SHAJING.
4 9 FRIENDS OF SHAJING (K202) Shifted out shortly after the start, bumped PERFECTDAY and became unbalanced. Bumped leaving the 600 Metres.
5 5 SPORTS LEGEND (H456) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 3 SYMBOL OF STRENGTH (K352) No report.
7 4 POWER KOEPP (E301) Approaching the finishing line H Bowman was obliged to stop riding and straighten his mount when it shifted in towards WONDER KIT. H Bowman stated that the instructions were to go forward. He said when caught wide in the early stages he elected to allow the horse to continue forward as the horse has a tendency to race keenly and to avoid POWER KOEPP racing in such a manner.
8 2 KING MILES (J158) Near the 800 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied to avoid POWER KOEPP. Bumped leaving the 600 Metres. Raced wide and without cover from the 600 Metres.
9 1 WONDER KIT (G455) No report.
10 7 SUGAR SUGAR (G016) Crowded shortly after the start. Near the 100 Metres was shifted to the outside of FRIENDS OF SHAJING to continue into clear running.
11 8 ALWAYS AHEAD (L055) Jumped only fairly and then became unbalanced when bumped by SPORTS LEGEND which shifted out. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when it improved behind SPORTS LEGEND.
12 10 RYUI KOKOROE (L120) Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between SUGAR SUGAR and SYMBOL OF STRENGTH which shifted in.
