3 6 EVER WEALTH (L317) Had its left hind plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. On jumping shifted out and away from SHOW ME YOUR LOVE and as a result was corrected by its rider Apprentice H Y Yuen.
4 7 GAUDIUM MAGNUM (L345) Jumped only fairly. When placed under pressure in the Home Straight raced greenly and proved difficult to ride out.
5 1 ALMIGHTY WARRIOR (L245) No report.
6 3 SHOW ME YOUR LOVE (L355) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
7 10 TALENTS CHAMPION (L295) Shifted out at the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 4 SILVERY KNIGHT (L236) No report.
9 8 GLORIOUS HERO (L348) No report.
10 9 SECRET INGREDIENT (L290) H Bentley stated that the intention was to go forward and lead the event. He said when SECRET INGREDIENT jumped awkwardly and lost ground it settled further back in the field than expected. He said in the early stages SECRET INGREDIENT raced keenly and near the 800 Metres got its head up when being steadied to avoid TALENTS CHAMPION. He added, in his opinion, SECRET INGREDIENT did not appreciate the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
