4 4 SOARING BRONCO (J162) J Orman dropped his whip just prior to the winning post.
5 11 MAZING GRACE (K166) Hung out rounding the turn at the 1200 Metres. Was steadied to avoid the heels of RISING ELITE when rounding the turn near the 700 Metres.

11 7 CELESTIAL HARMONY (K059) Rounding the turn near the 1200 Metres was inconvenienced and forced wider on the track by MAZING GRACE which was hanging out. Raced very wide and without cover from the 700 Metres.
12 10 KOLACHI (J395) When negotiating the turn near the 1200 Metres was restrained off the heels of CELESTIAL HARMONY.
13 3 FORTUNE SUPERNOVA (K287) No report.
14 9 BLUE BARON (J448) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A Badel reported that given his mount was required to do a significant amount of work in the early stages to take up a forward position as instructed, it failed to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer Y S Tsui confirmed the instructions and advised that it would be his intention to place BLUE BARON in a race of a shorter distance at its next start and to be ridden more conservatively. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
