1 2 INFINITE RESOLVE (K369) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 5 MIGHTY MASTS (L153) Between the 400 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running. When being shifted to the inside of TOURBILLON GOLFER approaching the 150 Metres made contact with ROMANTIC SON. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 14 WOLF COMING (K353) Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Near the 400 Metres and again after the 350 Metres was bumped by CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM.
4 11 FLASH CURRENT (J500) Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 100 Metres improved into a narrow run between CANDLELIGHT DINNER and CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM and as a result made contact with CANDLELIGHT DINNER near the 50 Metres.
5 9 PI LEGEND (L117) No report.
6 1 CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM (K201) Near the 400 Metres and again passing the 350 Metres made contact with WOLF COMING when attempting to shift to the outside of INFINITE RESOLVE to obtain clear running. As a result CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 6 ROMANTIC SON (J537) Bumped near the 150 Metres.
8 10 QUARTZ LEGEND (K548) Bumped on jumping. Between the 400 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running.
9 13 NEVER PETER OUT (J200) Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
10 3 CANDLELIGHT DINNER (J468) Bumped on the hindquarters on jumping. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 12 TOURBILLON GOLFER (K320) M F Poon stated that after holding a position outside the lead his mount gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight but he could offer no excuse for its disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
12 4 HEAVING (K576) Shortly after the start raced tight between YOUNG ARROW and PI LEGEND. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Shifted in near the 200 Metres and was bumped.
13 7 YOUNG ARROW (J401) Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 200 Metres was bumped by HEAVING which shifted in. K Teetan reported that his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and approaching the 600 Metres shifted out when being steadied to avoid M M CONCORD.
14 8 M M CONCORD (L076) On jumping became unbalanced when it made contact with CANDLELIGHT DINNER. Near the 150 Metres was eased when crowded between YOUNG ARROW and QUARTZ LEGEND which shifted out. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
