Racing Incident Report

NEVER LOOK BACK began awkwardly. SLOW WALTZ was slow to begin and then bumped with GREEN BIRDIE. At the 1300 Metres, FIRM OFFER, which was being taken across behind runners, was steadied away from the heels of JOY AND FUN. After the 1200 Metres, SLOW WALTZ got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of SILVER SUN. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, JOY AND FUN was checked when crowded for room between SLOW WALTZ and NEVER LOOK BACK which got its head on the side, hung out and shifted ground. FIRM OFFER, which was following, was checked in consequence. For a considerable distance after the 600 Metres, JOY AND FUN was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of SLOW WALTZ. After the 300 Metres, NEVER LOOK BACK became unbalanced after bumping the hindquarters of SILVER SUN. After this, NEVER LOOK BACK hung out for the remainder of the race. After the 200 Metres, GREEN BIRDIE got its head on the side and hung out. Over about the final 150 Metres, JOY AND FUN was held up and unable to obtain clear running between SLOW WALTZ and INSPIRATION. Because of this, JOY AND FUN was not fully tested. Throughout the race, MY CHOICE travelled wide and without cover. SLOW WALTZ, SUNNY POWER and NEVER LOOK BACK were sent for sampling.
