Racing Incident Report

RAPPER DRAGON was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right hind). Before being allowed to race again, RAPPER DRAGON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
FLAME HERO was crowded for room on jumping between HELENE PARAGON and BLAZING SPEED, both of which shifted ground.
HELENE HAPPY STAR began only fairly.
From the outside barrier, BEAUTY ONLY was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 650 Metres, BEAUTY ONLY was checked away from the heels of HELENE HAPPY STAR.
PACKING PINS was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Passing the 150 Metres, JOYFUL TRINITY momentarily raced in restricted room between BEAUTY ONLY and BLAZING SPEED which was taken out by DESIGNS ON ROME. Then, over the concluding stages, BLAZING SPEED was awkwardly placed outside DESIGNS ON ROME which drifted out under pressure.
When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of CONTENTMENT, B Prebble stated that when enjoying a good run behind the speed, CONTENTMENT travelled strongly in the early and middle stages. He said however that after being placed under pressure rounding the Home Turn, CONTENTMENT became unbalanced in its action, as it did at its first start back this campaign. He said CONTENTMENT then gave ground noticeably in the Straight and, in his opinion, the horse did not feel comfortable in its action once off the bridle. A veterinary inspection of CONTENTMENT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, CONTENTMENT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of JOYFUL TRINITY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
JOYFUL TRINITY, DESIGNS ON ROME and BLAZING SPEED were sent for sampling.
