Racing Incident Report

HELENE CHARISMA began only fairly.
PIKACHU began awkwardly and bumped the side of its gate.
From the outside barriers, DOYENI and SHARP SAILOR were shifted across behind runners shortly after the start.
When being steadied to obtain cover passing the 1700 Metres, CIRCUIT GLORY got its head up on a number of occasions and travelled keenly. After this, CIRCUIT GLORY continued to prove difficult to settle and again got its head up on a number of occasions when having to be steadied away from the heels of GORGEOUS KING. Then passing the winning post on the first occasion, CIRCUIT GLORY got its head up when having to be checked away from the heels of GORGEOUS KING.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, WINNING FAITH became badly unbalanced when passing a shadow on the track and lost ground, resulting in HELENE CHARISMA, which was following, having to be checked away from the heels of that horse in consequence.
After the 1300 Metres, SHARP SAILOR was left racing wide and without cover and approaching the 800 Metres was allowed to improve its position, however, continued to race wide and without cover.
Passing the 1100 Metres and again near the 1000 Metres, CIRCUIT GLORY got its head up when having to be checked away from the heels of GORGEOUS KING when continuing to over-race.
In the early part of the Straight, GORGEOUS KING got its head on the side and lay in under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of SHARP SAILOR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of GORGEOUS KING immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea and also found the horse to have sustained minor cuts to the right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, GORGEOUS KING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
GORGEOUS KING, PRAWN BABA and WINNING FAITH were sent for sampling.
<24/5/2018 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Officer reported that DOYENI was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, DOYENI will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
