Racing Incident Report

RATTAN was crowded for room on jumping between HEZTHEWONFORUS and TURIN REDSTAR, both of which shifted ground. This resulted in all three horses becoming unbalanced. TURIN REDSTAR then shifted out when unbalanced and bumped RIVET.
DRAGON GENERAL began awkwardly.
REGENCY BO BO was slow to begin and then was ridden along for a considerable distance in the early stages to take up a forward position.
From wide barriers, IRISH VEGA and JOLLY JOLLY were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 500 Metres, after improving into tight running between XIANG BAI QI and RIVET, RATTAN was crowded for room passing the 500 Metres when XIANG BAI QI shifted out away from the heels of TURIN REDSTAR.
TURIN REDSTAR and DANCES WITH DRAGON raced tight for some distance after passing the 400 Metres as TURIN REDSTAR improved into tight running between DANCES WITH DRAGON and HEZTHEWONFORUS which got its head on the side and lay out.
RATTAN was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight when awkwardly placed close to the heels of APOLLO’S CHOICE.
In the early part of the Straight, XIANG BAI QI got its head on the side and lay in under pressure and passing the 200 Metres was momentarily steadied away from the heels of APOLLO’S CHOICE which shifted out.
From the 200 Metres until passing the 100 Metres, FAST MOST FURIOUS had difficulty obtaining clear running.
DRAGON GENERAL was unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the Straight and consequently was not able to be tested.
A veterinary inspection of REGENCY BO BO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HEZTHEWONFORUS, RATTAN and WORLD RECORD were sent for sampling.
