4 2 HAILTOTHEVICTORS (J508) 10 L Ferraris Lay in in the Home Straight.
12 3 MANAGEMENT FOLKS (E496) 6 J Orman Slow to begin.
2 4 FIREFOOT (J183) 5 K Teetan When making a forward move near the 700 Metres made contact with ALL ARE MINE when that runner shifted out slightly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 5 VIVA TASTE (K415) 4 M F Poon Passing the 200 Metres shifted in abruptly, resulting in its rider M F Poon having to stop riding and straighten his mount. M F Poon stated that the instructions were to hold a more forward position but after jumping only fairly his mount failed to show sufficient pace in the early stages to comply with those instructions.
8 6 MEGA FORCE (K200) 2 A Atzeni Near the 1500 Metres made contact with the running rail when racing tight to the inside of FIREFOOT. When being eased to allow SPANGLE FORTUNE to cross in the early stages commenced to race keenly and as a result was steadied to avoid SPANGLE FORTUNE near the 1200 Metres. Near the 150 Metres raced in restricted room between ALL ARE MINE and SPANGLE FORTUNE which shifted out.
9 7 SPANGLE FORTUNE (G427) 7 M Chadwick Bumped at the start. Bumped near the 1500 Metres. M Chadwick reported that his mount did not run out the 1800 Metres of today’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 8 SUPER HONG KONG (D241) 3 R Kingscote Near the 1200 Metres was steadied to avoid MEGA FORCE. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running.
13 9 HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER (J002) 9 Y L Chung (-2) When commencing to give ground near the 200 Metres raced in restricted room between ALL ARE MINE and MEGA FORCE which was taken out by SPANGLE FORTUNE. Y L Chung stated that his mount did not run out the 1800 Metres of today’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
5 10 MEEPMEEP (H234) 8 H Bowman On jumping shifted in and made contact with SPANGLE FORTUNE.
3 11 ALL ARE MINE (H293) 11 Z Purton Near the 700 Metres made contact with FIREFOOT.
14 12 CONSPIRACY WITNESS (J541) 12 B Avdulla B Avdulla reported that when pressured from the 500 Metres his mount did not respond to his riding and gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
7 13 ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT (J524) 14 H Bentley Near the 100 Metres raced in restricted room between MEEPMEEP and HAILTOTHEVICTORS which shifted in slightly. H Bentley stated that the intention was to hold a forward position. He said despite riding his mount along in the early stages he was unable to hold a more forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 14 ALL EYES ON ME (J453) 13 M L Yeung From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

4 11 MODEST GENTLEMAN (G352) 3 M Chadwick Jumped only fairly. Briefly held up for clear running on the Home Turn. Between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of NOBLE DELUXE. Over the concluding stages lay out under pressure.
11 12 SONIC BOOM (H144) 6 M F Poon Shifted out near the 400 Metres and made contact with WIN SPEED. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Z Purton was fined the sum of $5,000 for a breach of Rule 155(5) for improper conduct on the morning of 17 April 2026.

4. Whip Rule Offences – 15 April 2026 Happy Valley Racemeeting

The following jockey was found to be in breach of Rule 100(3)(ii)(a) for using the whip on consecutive occasions:-
Race 1 (605)
E C W Wong (TAIHANG SCENERY) – 2 consecutive strides passing the 200 Metres – Severe Reprimand

Race 4 (608)
A Atzeni (ROMANTIC FANTASY) was fined the sum of $5,000 in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 250 Metres.

Race 6 (610)
L Ferraris (CLOUD NINE) was fined the sum of $5,000 in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 150 Metres.
