12 1 SIR CHARGE (K361) 5 H Bowman Shortly after the start made contact with DASH which shifted in. H Bowman stated that his mount over-raced throughout the early and middle stages. He said near the 450 Metres his mount made contact with FREE PONY when that runner improved quickly to his outside which resulted in SIR CHARGE being held up behind WIN METHOD. He added that in the Home Straight SIR CHARGE did not respond to his riding and, in his opinion, was still disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SIR CHARGE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
11 2 WAVE GARDEN (K209) 9 K C Leung Jumped only fairly.
3 3 FREE PONY (K229) 10 A Badel No report.
4 4 WINNING NOW (K532) 3 C L Chau (-2) No report.
6 5 UP WITH CHARM (K139) 4 C Y Ho A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
7 6 ABSOLUTE LUCKY (K070) 12 A Atzeni Between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres raced tight between WAVE GARDEN and BASIC INSTINCT. A Atzeni reported that from the outside barrier his instructions were to ride the horse conservatively in the early stages and allow it to finish the race off in the Home Straight. Trainer M Newnham confirmed the instructions issued. Noted to have blood in the mouth after the race.
5 7 GENIUS BABY (K132) 2 K Teetan On jumping made contact with the left side of its starting gate. Approaching the 250 Metres improved to the inside of WINNING NOW (C L Chau) when that runner was commencing to shift in, resulting in GENIUS BABY then being crowded for room near the 250 Metres and racing tight to the inside of WINNING NOW for some distance thereafter. C L Chau was reprimanded. When questioned regarding his riding on the Home Turn and in the early stages of the Home Straight K Teetan stated that after following WINNING NOW into the Home Straight he attempted to improve to that runner’s inside as he felt WINNING NOW would shift out on the Home Turn and WIN METHOD was positioned directly to his outside. He said after shifting to the inside of WINNING NOW that runner then shifted in as he attempted to obtain this run which resulted in GENIUS BABY not being able to obtain clear running for some distance after the 250 Metres. After considering his explanation the Stewards found the tactics adopted by Jockey Teetan were reasonable in the circumstances. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 8 CRYSTAL POWERFUL (H068) 11 M Chadwick M Chadwick reported that from a wide barrier he was obliged to make use of his mount in the early stages to race outside the lead. He said as a consequence in the Home Straight his mount was unable to finish the race off strongly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 9 DASH (K250) 6 D Probert Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. In the early stages raced ungenerously and making the first turn got its head up when being crossed by FREE PONY. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
9 10 BASIC INSTINCT (K289) 1 M F Poon Approaching the 200 Metres was held up for clear running when crowded between ABSOLUTE LUCKY which was racing tight to the inside of WAVE GARDEN and SIR CHARGE which shifted out when giving ground. As a result BASIC INSTINCT was held up for clear running between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
2 11 SNOWTHORN (K025) 7 R Kingscote Sent for sampling post-race.
1 12 WIN METHOD (K406) 8 H Bentley Sent for sampling post-race.

3 1 COURIER MAGIC (H290) 5 Z Purton Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Near the 1400 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from APOLAR FIGHTER. Bumped near the 100 Metres. Z Purton reported that his mount lay out throughout the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 2 GALE SAGA (J152) 6 J McDonald No report.
2 3 STERLING WONGCHOY (H273) 4 H Bowman Bumped on jumping. Near the 1500 Metres, STERLING WONGCHOY, which was racing keenly, was steadied to avoid LOADED WITH FLUKE (R Kingscote) which shifted in and away from VIVA CHALEUR. Whilst the Stewards accepted that R Kingscote had made some effort to correct his mount he was advised to exercise more care. Near the 100 Metres brushed with APOLAR FIGHTER when that runner shifted in slightly. As a result STERLING WONGCHOY then shifted in and away from APOLAR FIGHTER and made contact with COURIER MAGIC. H Bowman was questioned in relation to his right arm extending out and away from his body over the concluding stages which resulted in it being placed near the head of COURIER MAGIC. H Bowman explained that he was riding his mount out in his usual manner during that stage of the race and was gathering his reins at this point which resulted in his right arm extending out and away from his body. He added towards the finish of the event his actions did not change although he did concede his right arm was positioned close to the head of COURIER MAGIC. Z Purton, rider of COURIER MAGIC, stated that he was not aware this incident occurred during the running of the race. After considering his evidence the Stewards accepted the explanation of Jockey Bowman that he did not intentionally place his right arm in the vicinity of COURIER MAGIC, however, he was advised to ensure that, wherever possible, his arm does not make contact with another horse during the running of the race. Sent for sampling post-race.
1 4 APOLAR FIGHTER (J169) 1 C L Chau (-2) Sent for sampling post-race.
5 5 BEAUTY MISSILE (H123) 10 A Badel Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
11 6 LOADED WITH FLUKE (K069) 9 R Kingscote No report.
12 7 DECRELOT (J551) 11 L Ferraris L Ferraris stated that the instructions were to go forward. He said when DECRELOT did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to do so it settled back in the field. He added that throughout the event DECRELOT appeared to be displaying a respiratory issue and as a consequence when not in a competitive position in the Home Straight he did not ride it out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of DECRELOT, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, DECRELOT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 8 VIVA CHALEUR (G368) 12 Y L Chung (-2) When questioned Y L Chung stated that his instructions were to attempt to find a position midfield with cover. He said from the outside barrier VIVA CHALEUR jumped well and as a result was able to hold a forward position in the early stages. He added that with blinkers being applied for the first time VIVA CHALEUR over-raced throughout the early stages which resulted in the horse improving to the lead. He further stated that although he was aware that the sectional times were being run inside of standard time he was unable to set a more sustainable pace as VIVA CHALEUR was racing too keenly and would not respond to his efforts to come back. He said due to its racing manners VIVA CHALEUR weakened in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have an epiglottic entrapment.
9 9 FOREMOST TEDDY (J058) 7 P N Wong (-7) Shifted out at the start and made contact with SMASHING EXPRESS. Near the 350 Metres blundered when briefly crowded for room between BEAUTY MISSILE and COURIER MAGIC which lay out. Apprentice P N Wong stated that the instructions were to go forward. She said her mount failed to show sufficient pace in the early stages to do so which resulted in it settling further back in the field before being unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
7 10 SMASHING EXPRESS (J252) 8 B Avdulla On jumping was crowded by FOREMOST TEDDY which shifted out. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

He added that again near the 150 Metres CLUB ACE shifted in which required him to stop riding and straighten his mount at that point.
11 3 RUN RUN TIMING (H403) 2 C Y Ho A Atzeni (SUPER ELITE) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that leaving the 150 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in, crowding the running of LEGEND STAR, taking that runner across the running of RUN RUN TIMING, resulting in RUN RUN TIMING having to be checked and also contributing to SHOTGUN and LEGEND STAR being severely checked. A Atzeni was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 3 December 2025 at Happy Valley. In addition, Jockey Atzeni was fined $55,000. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his good race riding record. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, RUN RUN TIMING will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
10 4 SHOTGUN (K111) 8 J Orman Jumped only fairly and then was checked when crowded by CLUB ACE which shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider B Avdulla. C L Chau (PODIUM) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that after the 150 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of SUPER ELITE, resulting in LEGEND STAR being taken in onto SHOTGUN, contributing to both LEGEND STAR and SHOTGUN being severely checked. C L Chau was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Sunday, 14 December 2025 at Sha Tin. In addition, C L Chau was fined $50,000. 12 7 COSMO NAVIGATOR (H156) 11 K Teetan Jumped only fairly. K Teetan stated that from a wide barrier his instructions were to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said COSMO NAVIGATOR failed to travel throughout the event and did not run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, COSMO NAVIGATOR will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
1 8 PODIUM (H173) 7 C L Chau (-2) Shortly after the start was bumped heavily when crowded by CLUB ACE which shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider. 3 3 KOLACHI (J395) 2 D Probert Prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards gave consideration if there were grounds for a protest/objection against RAGGA BOMB being declared second placegetter due to interference approaching the 100 Metres. Having regard to the margin of a length and a half between the two horses at the finish of the event the Stewards declined to lodge a protest/objection and declared weighed-in on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. Apprentice E C W Wong (RAGGA BOMB) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 100 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of KOLACHI, resulting in KOLACHI having to be checked. 6 4 CALIFORNIA MOXIE (J131) 6 H Bowman Bumped shortly after the start. Approaching the 350 Metres CALIFORNIA MOXIE, which was held up behind COLOURFUL KNIGHT, then improved to the inside of COLOURFUL KNIGHT when that runner shifted out slightly and commenced to give ground. When COLOURFUL KNIGHT was corrected by its rider, CALIFORNIA MOXIE was checked when disappointed for clear running and as a result shifted in, crowding ABSOLUTE AWAKENED which was also checked. The Stewards were satisfied that Jockey Bowman had not attempted to improve into a position where there was not sufficient room and that CALIFORNIA MOXIE had improved to the inside of COLOURFUL KNIGHT due to that runner giving ground.
