Trainer W K Mo concurred with the explanation offered by Jockey Leung and advised that the horse had pleased him prior to today’s race. After the running of Race 1, the track classification for the turf course was officially changed from "Good” to "Good to Firm”. This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective. As a consequence of this, the official results will show Race 1 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm”.

Trainer D Eustace was fined the sum of $2,000 for entering L388 in a barrier trial on Friday, 24 April 2026 when that horse was not named at the time of entry.
