6 10 SPICY SPANGLE (J087) 6 C Y Ho The Stewards considered an application from Jockey C Y Ho that his mount be declared a non-runner on the grounds that it had been denied a fair start. After taking evidence from Jockey Ho, Trainer W K Mo and Starter Mr A Speechley, the Stewards found that SPICY SPANGLE lunged forward and then reared as the start was being effected which resulted in SPICY SPANGLE losing ground. As the Stewards were satisfied that such occurrence occurred simultaneously to the start being effected, the horse was declared a runner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 11 CALL TO COMMAND (J243) 5 C L Chau (-2) Jumped only fairly. Shortly after the start was then steadied when crowded between SOLAR RIVER and HAPPY ACTION which was taken out.
8 12 BRILLIANT FIRE (J441) 3 K Teetan Shortly after the start was hampered when crowded by THOUSAND CUPS which shifted out. K Teetan stated that his mount obtained a favourable position behind the lead in the early stages but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Approaching the 1200 Metres was momentarily crowded by STAR ELEGANCE which was taken in by PRECISION HOPE (A Badel) which shifted in before being corrected by Jockey Badel. A Badel was reprimanded. Near the 500 Metres was momentarily crowded by STAR ELEGANCE which hung in.
6 4 THE AZURE (J227) 7 Z Purton From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Z Purton stated that his mount did not travel well during the event and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight.

Making the turn near the 550 Metres shifted out and was steadied away from DUKE ATREIDES. M F Poon reported that after being crowded shortly after the start his mount did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. He said CASA OF HONOR did not travel well during the event and failed to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

He said with the early and middle stages being run inside of standard time BEAUTY ALLIANCE was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 3 LIVEANDLETLIVE (K156) 5 H Bowman Near the 200 Metres was hampered when taken in by POPE CODY. H Bowman stated that the horse was disadvantaged by the early and middle stages being run inside of standard time and, in his opinion, was not comfortable on the surface which, whilst still rated as "Good”, had effects of some rain which had fallen during the meeting. As a consequence BEAUTY ALLIANCE shifted in, crowding ROMANTIC THOR in onto FORTUNATE SON which was steadied when disappointed for clear running between AERODYNAMICS and ROMANTIC THOR. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After travelling a short distance HONEST WITNESS (Apprentice P N Wong) shifted in when not sufficiently clear, resulting in DO YOU JUST being steadied when taken in onto POWER KOEPP which was crowded. In the circumstances Apprentice Wong was severely reprimanded.
2 4 TARGET AUDIENCE (K107) 5 J Moreira Shortly after the start was checked when crowded between JUBILANT WINNER which was taken out by AURIO when AURIO shifted out and away from NORTHERN FIRE BALL and KING PROFIT which was taken in by POWER KOEPP which shifted in after being crowded by DO YOU JUST which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. Near the 300 Metres lay in and was steadied to avoid CENTRAL BANK which was being shifted to the outside of DO YOU JUST. Sent for sampling post-race.
11 5 NORTHERN FIRE BALL (J488) 2 K C Leung K C Leung reported that his mount was disadvantaged by being pressured in the lead by HONEST WITNESS and with the pace being run inside of standard time it was unable to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have an epiglottic entrapment.

8 7 KING PROFIT (J539) 6 Z Purton Crowded shortly after the start. Held up for clear running on the Home Turn. An inquiry into the reason for KING PROFIT being checked near the 300 Metres was adjourned to the Sha Tin racemeeting on Sunday, 12 July 2026. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 8 HONEST WITNESS (K283) 9 P N Wong (-7) Apprentice P N Wong stated that her instructions were to go forward and either race in the lead or outside the lead. She said after settling to the outside of NORTHERN FIRE BALL in the early stages HONEST WITNESS raced too keenly and refused to settle. She said as a result the pace of the event was run inside of standard time in the early and middle stages which resulted in HONEST WITNESS giving ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Race 1 (827)
Y L Chung (QUANTUM WUKONG) was reprimanded in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on two occasions after the 300 Metres and near the 250 Metres.

Race 8 (834)
J Moreira (FIREFOOT) was reprimanded in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 350 Metres.
