Racing Incident Report
HAPPY YEARS and NOBLE HEART were slow to begin. Shortly after the start, X-SPEED shifted out and brushed DESERT ROMEO. For some distance after the 800 Metres, WELL EXPRESS hung in, then near the 600 Metres shifted ground and caused crowding to BABY KING which as a result was steadied and lost its position. In the circumstances, no action was taken. Near the 600 Metres, VILLAGER was steadied away from the heels of DOWN FOR THE COUNT. Rounding the Home Turn, EASY KING hung out. Rounding the Home Turn and in the Straight, NOBLE HEART hung out. Because of this, near the 300 Metres DESERT ROMEO was steadied off the heels of NOBLE HEART. Over the concluding stages, TOWN OF FIONN hung in under pressure. In the Straight, BABY KING got its head up and raced awkwardly. NOBLE HEART was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, NOBLE HEART was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No abnormalities were detected. DOWN FOR THE COUNT and TOWN OF FIONN were sent for sampling.
