Racing Incident Report
LUCKY BIRD was slow to begin and then bumped with the hindquarters of HARVEST GALA. PREMIER CRU was a little slow to begin and shortly afterwards was checked when crowded for room between MANGROVE which shifted in and GOLD DIGGER which shifted out after being bumped by VITAL FOUNTAIN which shifted ground on jumping. On jumping, OH GREAT stumbled. MANGROVE made the Home Turn awkwardly and shifted out. At the 200 Metres, OH GREAT and LUCKY BIRD, which was hanging in, bumped, resulting in LUCKY BIRD becoming unbalanced behind. After this, LUCKY BIRD continued to hang in. Near the 150 Metres, JUST VICTORY, which was commencing to give ground, was steadied when momentarily crowded for room inside KID GALAXY which got its head on the side and shifted in. After the 100 Metres, OH GREAT, which was making some ground, was momentarily steadied when awkwardly placed between HARVEST GALA and LUCKY BIRD. Over the concluding stages, HARVEST GALA hung in. Throughout the race, GOLD DIGGER raced wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. PREMIER CRU and WINWIN COMBO were sent for sampling.
