Racing Incident Report

DARYAKANA was slow to begin. Passing the 2200 Metres, JAMESINA got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of VIVA PATACA. Passing the 900 Metres, KASBAH BLISS was steadied and lost its position when crowded for room between JAGUAR MAIL and YOUMZAIN (K Fallon) which, after initially shifting to the outside of the heels of BLACK MAMBA, was taken out slightly by that horse. K Fallon was advised to exercise care when shifting ground in future. Approaching the 600 Metres, VIVA PATACA became unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters by KASBAH BLISS which in turn was bumped by YOUMZAIN. Near the 300 Metres, YOUMZAIN was checked when disappointed for running between PACKING WINNER and JACKPOT DELIGHT, both of which shifted slight ground when weakening. BUCCELLATI, which was following, was steadied in consequence. Throughout the race, CIRRUS DES AIGLES travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of YOUMZAIN and BLACK MAMBA after the race did not show any significant findings. DARYAKANA and SPANISH MOON were sent for sampling.
