Racing Incident Report

MISSION POSSIBLE was withdrawn on 22.11.16 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter GRACE HEART (S Clipperton). Before being allowed to race again, MISSION POSSIBLE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
GRACE HEART shifted out on jumping and bumped CHARITY KINGDOM.
BEAUTY PRINCE was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
From the outside barriers, RED MARVEL and MAMBO ROCK were also steadied shortly after the start and shifted across behind runners.
O Murphy (INDUSTRIALIST WAY) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 950 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of CHARITY KINGDOM, causing that horse to be crowded for room, to clip the heels of INDUSTRIALIST WAY and be checked. O Murphy was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Wednesday, 7 December 2016 and to expire on Monday, 12 December 2016 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards took into account Jockey Murphy's good race riding record.
After the 600 Metres, CALIFORNIA JOY got its head on the side and lay out. INDUSTRIALIST WAY improved its position to be racing tight inside the heels of CALIFORNIA JOY and outside BEAUTY PRINCE. INDUSTRIALIST WAY then raced in restricted room between BEAUTY PRINCE and CALIFORNIA JOY for some distance.
At the entrance to the Straight, CHARITY KINGDOM was steadied when disappointed for running between INDUSTRIALIST WAY and NITRO EXPRESS which shifted in.
Passing the 300 Metres, RED MARVEL was shifted in away from the heels of GRACE HEART which, when commencing to give ground, momentarily raced tight inside WINSTON'S LAD which shifted in.
Passing the 150 Metres, RED MARVEL and ENORMOUS HONOUR improved into tight running inside BEAUTY PRINCE (Z Purton). Then passing the 100 Metres, BEAUTY PRINCE shifted in marginally, resulting in RED MARVEL shifting in and bumping ENORMOUS HONOUR, causing that horse to become badly unbalanced and shift out, resulting in RED MARVEL being crowded for room between BEAUTY PRINCE and ENORMOUS HONOUR passing the 50 Metres. As the Stewards found that BEAUTY PRINCE had only shifted in marginally under pressure, Z Purton was reprimanded and advised that in similar circumstances he must make every endeavour to ensure that his fellow riders have comfortable racing room.
Passing the 100 Metres, INDUSTRIALIST WAY was shifted in away from the heels of WINSTON'S LAD to continue improving.
A veterinary inspection of TRENDY WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of TRENDY WIN, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, TRENDY WIN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
NITRO EXPRESS, ENORMOUS HONOUR and BEAUTY PRINCE were sent for sampling.
