Racing Incident Report

SMILING GLORY shifted out at the start, resulting in EASTERN PROWESS being bumped and taken out onto ROBUST MOMENTUM which was hampered.
YOU KNOW WHO began awkwardly and then was awkwardly placed outside the heels of INFINITY ENDEAVOUR which shifted out.
From wide barriers, RATTAN, STAR OF PATCH and DON WONGCHOY were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 1100 Metres, YOU KNOW WHO travelled keenly when being steadied to obtain cover.
ALL MY GAIN had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
MASSIVE MILLENNIUM was unable to obtain clear running until after the 300 Metres.
Passing the 250 Metres, ROBUST MOMENTUM was bumped by STAR OF PATCH which got its head on the side and shifted out away from HAPPY SOUND. This resulted in both STAR OF PATCH and ROBUST MOMENTUM becoming unbalanced.
Near the 150 Metres, PRINCE HARMONY and STAR OF PATCH (Z Purton), which was hanging out, bumped as a result of PRINCE HARMONY shifting in marginally and STAR OF PATCH continuing to hang out. A short distance later, PRINCE HARMONY was checked when crowded for room between STAR OF PATCH which continued to hang out and INFINITY ENDEAVOUR which shifted in. Then passing the 100 Metres, STAR OF PATCH continued to hang out and bumped the hindquarters of INFINITY ENDEAVOUR which became badly unbalanced. STAR OF PATCH continued to lay out over the concluding stages. Having regard to the racing manners of STAR OF PATCH, the Stewards were satisfied that Z Purton had made reasonable endeavour to prevent that horse from shifting ground.
Throughout the race, HAPPY SOUND travelled wide and without cover.
INFINITY ENDEAVOUR, STAR OF PATCH and DARING FIT were sent for sampling.
