Racing Incident Report

REGENCY HONEY shifted in at the start and bumped FOREVER FUN.
Shortly after the start, when being ridden along, SIGHT SEEING (B Prebble) shifted out, resulting in SALSA BROTHERS being crowded for room inside OTOUTO and causing SIGHT SEEING, SALSA BROTHERS and OTOUTO to become unbalanced. B Prebble was advised to exercise more care than he did on this occasion in similar circumstances.
From wide barriers, PLANET STAR, OUR HONOUR and STARLIGHT were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 1100 Metres, SKY TREASURE was left racing very wide and was steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain a position with cover closer to the rail. For some distance after this, SKY TREASURE proved difficult to settle.
Passing the 800 Metres, after being crossed by SALSA BROTHERS, SCARBOROUGH FAIR commenced to over-race and got its head up when being checked away from the heels of that horse until the 700 Metres. SIGHT SEEING, which was following, was hampered in consequence. Then making the turn near the 600 Metres, SCARBOROUGH FAIR again commenced to prove difficult to settle and got its head up when being checked away from the heels of SALSA BROTHERS.
Passing the 600 Metres, STARLIGHT raced tight inside OUR HONOUR which was taken in by SKY TREASURE which shifted in marginally before being shifted back out to relieve the tightening to the runners to its inside.
Passing the 300 Metres, SUPER FORM was shifted out away from the heels of FOREVER FUN.
Also passing the 300 Metres, SKY TREASURE got its head up when being directed out away from SIGHT SEEING.
Close to the finishing line, SUPER FORM was bumped by STARLIGHT which shifted in after initially being brushed by REGENCY HONEY.
Throughout the race, OTOUTO travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of OTOUTO and SKY TREASURE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GRACE HEART and PLANET STAR were sent for sampling.
<29/6/2017 Additional Veterinary Report>OTOUTO, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. OTOUTO was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D Cruz this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to have a stiff and restricted action and to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, OTOUTO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
