Racing Incident Report

AMAZING AGILITY was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Also from a wide barrier, HAY RUN was steadied in the early stages to obtain a position with cover.
After the 1400 Metres, MIGHTY BOY was left racing wide and without cover.
Approaching and passing the 1100 Metres, CIRCUIT HASSLER travelled keenly and proved difficult to settle.
After the 600 Metres, HAY RUN got its head on the side and lay out.
Approaching the 500 Metres, RULE THEE raced tight between HOME RUN and TAI SMART which shifted out.
Passing the 500 Metres, TAI SMART was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CARE FREE PRINCE.
Also passing the 500 Metres, HOME RUN raced close to the heels of LET US WIN. HOME RUN continued to race close to the heels of LET US WIN and approaching the 400 Metres was shifted to the inside of that horse which at this time was taken out by TAI SMART. Passing the 400 Metres, HOME RUN then shifted in away from the heels of LET US WIN, resulting in RULE THEE being crowded for room outside CIRCUIT HASSLER. RULE THEE and HOME RUN then raced tight for a short distance.
After the 400 Metres, CIRCUIT HASSLER was shifted to the inside of CARE FREE PRINCE to obtain clear running.
For some distance approaching and passing the 300 Metres, RULE THEE was awkwardly placed behind MIGHTY BOY and near the 250 Metres became unbalanced, got its head on the side and shifted out, resulting in HOME RUN being crowded for room and taken out onto LET US WIN.
In the Straight, GORGEOUS KING hung in and proved difficult to ride.
A veterinary inspection of HOME RUN and RULE THEE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CIRCUIT HASSLER, GORGEOUS KING and JOLLY GENE were sent for sampling.
