Racing Incident Report

WUSHU CHAMPION began awkwardly.
SEASONS BLOOM was slow to begin,
Shortly after the start, MONGOLIAN KING was crowded for room between BEAT THE CLOCK and JOLLY CONVERGENCE which shifted in. After this, from a wide barrier, MONGOLIAN KING was shifted across behind runners.
LE PANACHE was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After being crossed by JOLLY CONVERGENCE (Apprentice H T Mo) near the 1000 Metres, GO BABY GO proved difficult to settle and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of JOLLY CONVERGENCE for some distance. Apprentice Mo was warned against the practice of easing the pace of races too abruptly.
After the 1000 Metres, PROUD SKY proved very difficult to settle and was checked away from the heels of WUSHU CHAMPION.
Passing the 900 Metres, BEAT THE CLOCK shifted out away from the heels of GO BABY GO which continued to be awkwardly placed close to the heels of JOLLY CONVERGENCE. After this, BEAT THE CLOCK became awkwardly placed close to the heels of REGENCY BO BO.
Making the turn after the 900 Metres, PRINCIPAL, which throughout the race travelled wide and without cover, was bumped by THE SUPREME which shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of REGENCY BO BO. After this, THE SUPREME raced wide and without cover.
Near the 650 Metres, STAR SUPERIOR was crowded for room between PRINCIPAL and EL SHERIF which shifted out away from the heels of BEAT THE CLOCK when that horse was again steadied away from the heels of REGENCY BO BO.
MONGOLIAN KING lay out making the Home Turn.
Passing the 400 Metres, WUSHU CHAMPION was shifted to the inside of EL SHERIF after being held up for clear running behind that horse.
The performance of PRINCIPAL, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, PRINCIPAL will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
SEASONS BLOOM and REGENCY BO BO were sent for sampling.
