Racing Incident Report

SUNNY ORIENT began only fairly.
SUPER DUKE shifted out at the start and bumped GRACE HEART.
TRENDIFUL was crowded for room on jumping between GOOD COMPANION and RUMINARE which shifted in. In this incident, GOOD COMPANION became unbalanced after being bumped by TRENDIFUL.
TRENDIFUL lost its left front plate shortly after the start.
From wide barriers, DR RACE and SCARBOROUGH FAIR were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Throughout the race, OUR HONOUR travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of LOVE CHUNGHWA immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm and an endoscopic examination also showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, LOVE CHUNGHWA will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of RUMINARE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GRACE HEART, GRACIOUS RYDER and GOOD COMPANION were sent for sampling.
