 Singapore Expert - Sherie Legrix
As the first lady apprentice since professional racing, Sherie partnered with NIAGARA FALLS to her first career victory on The Ladies’ Purse Day on 14 October 1995, providing one of the memorable moments on the Hong Kong turf. She also scored a double on 23 February 1997. She had been a part of the live commentary cast and guest MC for the Hong Kong Jockey Club, including the 2000 Hong Kong International Races, and has married French riding sensation Eric Legrix, also a familiar face to the local race fans, who switches his tack perennially amongst France, Singapore, Macau and Hong Kong. Accompanying her family, Sherie has spent her time in these locales, and is a remarkable turf expert for respective locales.

S2-1 Class 3 Handicap

Though being a wide-open contest with numerous choices, a few recently improving runners should be a notch above.

Freshly improving FOXTROT HOTEL works superbly in the mornings, showing a lot of quality in his two previous starts on turf and polytrack, and should further improve with a stretch in distance. Though having shelved up for a month, he is definitely in surging form.

Meanwhile, KNIGHT SPIRIT is a game, consistent individual who shows up every time. Having made his two previous starts at less than ideal distances, he is returning to his prevailing trip with the winning partner up in the saddle, and should still be a factor despite an outside post position.

JOHN OF ARCH comes off from a pair of second-place efforts on turf and polytrack, and is still a well-performing individual at 1600 meters. With quite a regimental work tab as of late, the connections are taking dead aim on this one.

TARANKALI was closing up fast in his last two outings on polytrack, and is always there at a mile. Several speed horses up front in this contest will help this closer down the lane.

SELECTIONS: FOXTROT HOTEL, KNIGHT SPIRIT, JOHN OF ARCH & TARANKALI
