Operations:
- Analyse Club, overseas and other investigative samples
- Validate, enhance or implement drug detection methods
- Review, streamline and update all analytical methods
- Manage the long-term sample storage program
Development:
- Plan, organise and lead research and development projects

- Ensure the quality system is maintained and in compliance along with smooth running of the laboratory
- Coordinate internal and external quality assurance programs
- Collaborate with other Club's department on laboratory infrastructure and IT systems
- Source and procure drug reference materials and laboratory supplies
Molecular Biology:
- Plan, organise and lead research and development projects based on OMICS tools
- Develops, evaluates and validates biomarker detection methods
- Co-ordinate and manage joint research projects between the laboratory and external organisations
- Provide technical support on analyses requiring special bioanalytical techniques
