Subsequently the Stewards considered a protest/objection lodged by 2nd placegetter's rider and trainer alleging interference against the horse after the 550M. After considering all the evidence it was established that the horse ran out abruptly near the 550M despite the efforts of its rider to prevent the horse from shifting ground. In that incident the 2nd placegetter was badly hampered when taken wider. After considering the incident, the manner in which both horses finished the race off and the margin of 1 ¾ lengths between the two horses at the end of the race, the Stewards overruled the protest/objection when they could not be comfortably satisfied that had the interference not have occurred that the horse would have finished in advance of the winning horse. Accordingly, weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a turf track gallop around a bend at Sha Tin Racecourse on 14 November 2025 and a barrier trial around a bend on 20 November 2025 - Race 124. |
