Racing Incident Report

On arrival at the Start, the tongue tie fitted to CELESTIAL NOVA was adjusted.
As the start was effected, REGENCY BO BO became fractious and commenced to rear. REGENCY BO BO, which was being assisted by a starting gate handler, then again reared abruptly following the start being effected, resulting in the horse losing a considerable amount of ground. Before being allowed to race again, REGENCY BO BO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
SICHUAN BOSS was slow to begin.
From a wide barrier, KA YING KID was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
For some distance after the 1100 Metres, CELESTIAL NOVA commenced to prove very difficult to settle and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MR POTENTIAL before shifting out away from the heels of that horse near the 1000 Metres which resulted in RED ELYSEES being taken wider. CELESTIAL NOVA then continued to prove difficult to settle and was awkwardly placed behind HAY RUN passing the 900 Metres.
Both SICHUAN BOSS and ROYAL PERFORMER made the turn near the 900 Metres awkwardly.
At the entrance to the Straight, REGENCY BO BO momentarily raced tight between HAY RUN and KA YING KID which, after shifting out, was then directed back in to relieve the tightening. In this incident, REGENCY BO BO bumped the hindquarters of HAY RUN which became unbalanced.
Throughout the race, HAY RUN travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of CELESTIAL NOVA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
NOTHINGILIKEMORE and HAPPY AGILITY were sent for sampling.
