Racing Incident Report
WAYFOONG STAR began awkwardly and then was steadied away from the heels of VOYAGE STAR which shifted out.
DIAMOND PIXIU began awkwardly and was steadied to obtain cover shortly after the start.
From wide barriers, SUNDAY BETTING and SUPER RED DRAGON were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the turn at the 900 Metres, GLENEALY GENERALS got its head on the side and lay in.
Approaching the 600 Metres, WAYFOONG STAR travelled keenly and then passing the 600 Metres was awkwardly placed behind PEGASUS GLORY.
After the 600 Metres, STAR OF WUYI got its head on the side and lay out. STAR OF WUYI then made the Home Turn awkwardly.
GRAND POWER lost its left front plate shortly after entering into the Straight.
Passing the 200 Metres, STAR OF WUYI shifted out under pressure, requiring its rider to stop riding and correct his mount.
Passing the 100 Metres, PEGASUS GLORY was shifted out away from the heels of STAR OF WUYI which, when continuing to lay out, got its head on the side and shifted out away from GLENEALY GENERALS.
Throughout the race, WINNER’S HEART travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER RED DRAGON immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER RED DRAGON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of SUNDAY BETTING immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, SUNDAY BETTING will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
PEGASUS GLORY, JUDY’S STAR and VOYAGE STAR were sent for sampling.
