Racing Incident Report

SECRET VISION jumped only fairly and then was bumped by SILVER HAMMER which shifted in.
INCANTO PREPARED also jumped only fairly and then raced tight to the inside of GIFT OF LIFELINE for a short distance after the start.
STORM LEGEND bumped with NIMBLE NIMBUS soon after the start, resulting in STORM LEGEND becoming unbalanced and then shifting out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of E LEGEND.
From the outside barriers, STAR CONTACT and RISING FROM ASHES were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
LOYAL BABY raced wide in the early stages before being allowed to stride forward and obtain a position in the lead leaving the 900 Metres.
Passing the 1000 Metres, BEAUTY TURN commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of E LEGEND.
Near the 700 Metres, RISING FROM ASHES shifted out when being steadied away from STAR CONTACT.
Approaching the 600 Metres, E LEGEND commenced to race keenly when the pace was steadied by LOYAL BABY, resulting in E LEGEND being steadied from LOYAL BABY. BEAUTY TURN, which was following E LEGEND, was awkwardly placed close to E LEGEND and shifted out, causing SILVER HAMMER to be taken out and make contact with STORM LEGEND, resulting in STORM LEGEND and SILVER HAMMER becoming unbalanced and STORM LEGEND being taken wider.
When commencing to finish the race off well approaching the 50 Metres, RISING FROM ASHES was eased when disappointed for running between STORM LEGEND and SILVER HAMMER which shifted out slightly. RISING FROM ASHES was then shifted to the inside of SILVER HAMMER over the concluding stages to obtain clear running.
After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on SECRET VISION at the request of Trainer C S Shum. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SECRET VISION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of RISING FROM ASHES immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
NIMBLE NIMBUS and LOYAL BABY were sent for sampling.
