3 6 CLASSIC MASTER (BV338) S Seamer -- Settled 4Ls to 5Ls off pace racing 2-wide early on, travelled well tracking winner turning in 3Ls off pace, followed winner's path to line finished off very strongly but just too late.
4 11 GOLDEN YEARS (CB010) W C Marwing -- Had run of the race on fence 2Ls off pace 1000 M out, travelled well turning for home and 1/2L off speed and every chance 200 M out, not follow through closing stages.
5 14 GREEN CENTURY (CA256) C Williams V Led passing 1200 M marker on fence though never clear by more than 1L through to home straight, all out 200 M out and grabbed by nearest pursuers.
6 9 CELEBRATION (CB029) H K Yim V At least 5Ls or 6Ls off pace racing 2-wide through to home straight, picked up to go about 3Ls down 200 M out, made further progress close home to be nearest at finish.
7 1 DANEFACTOR (CA006) G Mosse -- On fence about 3Ls off pace early on, niggled along 600 M out and 2Ls down turning for home, kept on fairly well under strong pressure to line.

12 3 CENTURY HORSE (BT267) E Saint-Martin -- Prominent early on racing 3-wide, went 2nd 1L off pace 1000 M out, similarly placed turning for home but one paced in striaght and well beaten over 200 M out.

14 4 HANDBAG DRAGON (BT253) S K Sit -- Tried to race prominently early on from out wide but had to settle between 2Ls and 3Ls off pace and 3-wide from 800 M out, under pressure at top of home straight and soon beaten.
