4 11 MY FAVOURITE (CA125) S Dye -- Always deep on track, 5-wide without cover 900 M out and towards rear, 5-wide on straightening when 6Ls down, veered to stand's rail for better ground, ran on well, nearest at finish. (Bled.)
5 2 ROYAL ARMY (CB103) C Williams SR 3-wide with cover and 6Ls off pace in 12th at 1000 M and similarly placed entering stretch, ran on fairly well nearer the stand's rail without threatening principals.
6 3 DILIGENT (CC285) A Delpech -- 3-wide and 4Ls off speed in 6th at 1000 M, checked at 800 M and knocked back to 6Ls off pace in 9th, 4Ls down and 4-wide on turn for home, always outpaced finishing off down centre of track.
7 6 LOYAL DEVOTION (BV075) T Mundry -- Caught 4-wide without cover 4Ls off pace in 5th at the 1000 M, 3Ls down and 4-wide into home straight when in 4th place, much too one-paced thereafter.
8 8 TOY QUEST (CC036) A Marcus V Slowly away, checked at the 1000 M when on fence and 4Ls off pace in midfield, 5Ls down at 600 M and entering straight, very one-paced and no threat.
9 10 ABORIGINAL (CC284) W C Marwing -- Keen early on, 2-wide and 5Ls off pace in 9th at 1000 M, 6Ls down and towards rear entering straight, no impression.
10 1 NOBLE FALCON (CC035) D Whyte -- Prominent racing 2-wide and 2Ls off speed in 3rd at 1000 M, 2Ls 2nd and niggled along entering straight, failed to pick up and beaten over 200 M out.
