2 2 GANBARIA (CE052) Y T Cheng B Led out 2-wide by 1L at 1000 M, on fence in front at 700 M and 1L clear off home turn, grabbed by winner inside final 50 M but gamely hung onto 2nd.
3 6 PROPELLOR (CE263) O Doleuze SR Box run on fence 2Ls behind lead in 3rd through to home straight, peeled out to have every chance when 1L 2nd at 200 M, kept on well but couldn't poke head in front.

9 8 JOYFUL YEARS (CG143) H W Lai -- On fence but never threatened to improve from mid-pack about 4Ls or 5Ls off the speed.
10 4 EUPHORIC KID (CB165) M W Leung V/TT Lacked any early pace, 8Ls behind in 2nd last at halfway, always well held despite running short of room late on.
