5 4 SEASONS KNACK (CC242) H W Lai -- Very slowly away, hard ridden to keep up about midfield, 5-1/2Ls off the leader along the fence, progressed forward 3-wide steadily and made ground at Home Bend, little dash 300 M whilst hanging in, run ended 100 M.
6 3 FANTUZZI (CG187) E Saint-Martin XB Pushed to occupy the box seat, raced closer than usual but raced keenly, favoured by the slow tempo, ran on until 250 M flattened.
