10 ROCKET WIN (CE249) W M Lai P/XB Only fair to jump, pushed along to drive up into spot behind leader, had run of race thereafter, 2 to 3Ls back in awkward spot on bend, steadily shifted to hit clear at 250 M, dashed hard and stuck to task for a narrow win.
1 LEADING AHEAD (CH249) K L Chui TT Slowly into stride, ended up behind midfield on rails 4 to 5Ls back, didn't settle well with slow speed, tracked eventual winner on bend, kept to inside and hit clear at 150 M, charged late and just went under.
4 FAT CHOY FOREVER (CD111) C W Wong -- Bounced out, showed usual speed to take up running, controlled the race 1L clear of rivals, challenged on circle, kicked again turning and held 1L to 200 M before overhauled. Even effort.
11 SUPER WONGCHOY (CB318) C K Tong -- Taken back from outset, raced amongst last few on rails 5 to 6Ls down, not helped by slow pace, still had job to do on bend, closed race off nicely between horses in straight to be nearest on line.
12 WELL NOTED (CG313) H W Lai -- Fast into stride, couldn't cross and was posted 3 wide without cover 2Ls back, always working and crept close to challenge on circle, right there entering straight and in it to 200 M before run ended.
9 PRETTY TRIO (CB343) S K Sit SR Standard jump and faded to muster, raced behind midfield 4 to 5Ls back, came 3 wide from midpoint, well back turning and without a clear run, shifted out in straight and closed evenly without threatening.
5 HONEY MONEY (CC359) O Doleuze B/TT Reasonable beginning, ended up 3 wide 3 to 4Ls back in midfield with cover, covered ground throughout but helped by speed, under pressure on turning, there to 200 M but only paddled late.
3 GLOBAL WIN (CG109) D Whyte B Amongst fastest away, pressed on in search of lead, had to be content to race outside lead 1L away, crept close on circle, right there turning but dropped out tamely from 200 M. (Jockey reported abnormal breathing.)
8 VERY FIT (CE071) K T Yeung XB/TT Ordinary getaway, soon detached at rear 12Ls off front runners, unsuited by going and always under pressure throughout, still well back on turning, made little impact in straight.
6 RUM SHOT (CE206) M W Leung B Even jump, assumed a midfield spot 1 out 1 back, had an easy time between horses, 2Ls down on turning, under pressure when run closed at 300 M, dropped right out last furlong.
