3 7 LUCKY QUALITY (CH134) Y T Cheng TT1 Jumped in air, mustered to race in behind leaders 2Ls back, always travelled in mid-section, kept progressing last 300 M when in clear to finish a nice 3rd.
4 4 BEAUTIFUL CHOICE (CH130) Z Purton -- Not much early pace, raced 4Ls away on outside rail back with last few, urged along at midpoint, kept improving and did best work late to make frame.
5 12 ABLE DANCER (CJ136) M Nunes -- Showed some early pace, held position behind leader towards outside rail, urged along at 400 M to hold spot, stayed on at same pace to be not far away in finish.
6 1 GOOD TOUCH (CJ033) E Saint-Martin B/TT Began well, had enough pace to be up sharing lead, raced greenly towards centre, hung when placed under pressure, could only hold ground over the concluding stages.
7 3 CARRY GOOD NEWS (CG219) M W Leung -- No pace from jump, settled a clear last 6Ls away, improved from midpoint, steadied and lost run at 200 M when making solid progress, kept on evenly thereafter to be closest at finish.
8 6 REDHILL COMMANDER (CH078) M Du Plessis -- Moderate beginning, raced at rear 5Ls back towards stand side, made a run from 500 M, kept closing to 100 M before steadied, just held ground thereafter.
9 13 HAPPY SUNDAY (CE169) E Wilson V/TT Unbalanced early, crossed to set behind midfield close to outside rail, kept on evenly under urging from 300 M, in traffic at 100 M, never really threatened thereafter.
10 8 NEWSWIRE TOO (CJ040) H W Lai B- Out well there, raced greenly behind pace close to middle, 2 to 3Ls back at midpoint, condition soon gave out and lost touch from 300 M.
