4 9 APPRECIATION (CK161) J Winks V/TT1 Drifted back from an awkward draw ended up 3 wide 5 to 6Ls away with cover in midfield, bumped on bend, kept coming down middle to make frame.
5 4 SUNRISE (CK026) K C Leung H Even jump, slotted into a midfield role 4Ls or so away, had a good run in middle stages, improved 3 wide from bend, didn't let down as usual and just held ground final 200 M.
6 10 WISE LOVER (CE095) T H So B Out in line, angled into 2 wide line in rear division, raced 6 to 7Ls away in running line, improved between horses on bend, made only minor headway.
7 7 STOLEN THUNDER (CJ003) B Doyle -- OK getaway, pushed up to race 3Ls away on fence, used nothing in run, took inside run turning, lacked pull up in straight and just faded.
8 5 BAAZIGAR (CG171) W C Marwing -- Reasonable break, posted 3 wide without cover 2Ls away, had a tough run to bend, same margin down and kept fighting to 200 M before run ended. (Bled.)
9 13 RED RULER (CH198) C W Wong TT Lacked early speed, ended up 6Ls or so away on rails, saved ground on turning, made steady progress between horses to 100 M before run closed. Not fully tested thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)
10 2 STRAWBERRY (CK182) P H Lo CP Amongst first to jump, led before taking trail on leaders back, had every chance thereafter, struggling on turning, found little and dropped off final 300 M.
11 8 BEST POWER (CG006) C K Tong TT No early pace as usual, ended up 7 to 8Ls away sharing rear, left with plenty to do and track pattern against, still well back at 300 M and lacked usual finish.
