4 2 SKY WALKER (CJ319) B Doyle CP1 Led early on, handed up advantage from 1000 M, soft trail in 2nd to straight, led again briefly 250 M out, had every chance to at least place.
5 4 SUPER SURVEYS (CJ306) D Whyte V Over-raced in a little 2-wide and 2Ls off pace in 4th down back straight, upsides and with every chance 200 M out, run peaked inside closing stages.

10 12 DECAGONAL (CH244) Z Purton B/TT Pressed on from wide gate to lead at 1000 M, crossed to rail at 700 M, 1L clear off last turn but headed before furlong pole and very weak late.
11 11 CLOVIS (CH044) G Cheyne -- Enjoyed a soft trail on the fence in 4th or so within 3Ls of the speed until final bend, faded out pretty cheaply considering the easy passage.
12 6 WINBO (CJ085) H W Lai -- Raced in 5th with cover some 4Ls back in middle stages and hard pressed to hold this position entering straight, very one-paced to wind up. (Questioned for disappointing performance.)
