2 4 SIGHT WINNER (CJ049) Z Purton -- Proved difficult to settle behind leaders, strode forward after 1200M to race outside the lead, quickened well and looked a possible winner 300M out, kept on effort to the finish but no chance with the winner.
3 10 JACOBEE (CL179) G Cheyne H/TT Towards the rear 2-wide and raced a shade keen in early stages, switched to outside passing 600M, ran on well to go 3rd close home.
4 9 JAMESINA (CH290) W M Lai CP/TT Restrained in midfield, saved ground running along the fence, stayed on over the final 400M but no extra pace to seriously challenge.
5 2 SPECIAL DAYS (CH236) O Doleuze B Patiently held up, sat in last for first half then advanced 3-wide over the turn, 6th turning in, stayed on in straight without threatening.
6 7 BLUE SKY (CJ289) M Guyon H Placed in midfield one off the fence, , kept on one paced under a strong drive but never looked like getting to the leaders.
7 11 HANDSOME ZULU (CM024) H W Lai B Driven to the lead and took them along at a steady pace, all out from 450M, caught nearing 200M then weakened rapidly.
8 5 KING DANCER (CK129) G Mosse CP Behind mid-division along the inside, switched out nearing 400M for a clear path but made limited progress only. No impression.
9 3 SUPER SATIN (CK116) D Whyte B- Held up behind midfield along the 2-path, found disappointingly little when placed under pressure turning in, out of contention 100M. (Jockey unable to offer any explanation.)
10 6 SUPER PISTACHIO (CL099) W C Marwing TT Raced outside the lead for 800M then held back to 3rd, couldn’t keep up with the pace inside 400M, weakened steadily.
11 1 NOBLE CONQUEROR (CG169) N Callan B Near the rear throughout, outpaced from 400M, soon behind.
