3 11 RAIN OF THUNDER (CJ352) Y T Cheng BO/TT- Received some significant crowding at the start, settling along the paint, behind midfield. Peeled out into clear running at the 150m, and finished off well.
4 8 CHANTILLY (CL153) O Doleuze B Made its run from near the rear 3 wide with cover. Closed off well down the outside in the final stretch.
5 2 FINEZZA (CM035) Z Purton -- Went forward from a wide gate and faced the breeze in second position outside the leader. Couldn’t find much extra at the business end of the race.
6 7 REDOUTE'S FORTUNE (CK297) M L Yeung -- Parked midfield the fence. stayed on one paced in the home straight making slight ground.
7 12 CHEERFUL DOUBLE (CK396) H W Lai -- Travelled behind midfield 2 deep with cover. Kept poking through to try and hold its position after the 700m. Closed off only.
8 1 SPINNAKER (CK305) G Cheyne TT Rated 3 back. 1 off with cover. Never properly settled and after the 800m, was permitted to shift out and race In a 3 wide line on the circle, no cover thereafter. Not likely.
9 9 POWER DRIFTER (CJ332) G Mosse B/TT Tightened badly for room at the jump settling towards the rear along the paint. Failed to make any impression in the run to the line.
10 13 DASH AHEAD (CD199) T H So CP Badly crowded at the start travelling at the back of the field. Only plodded to the line. (Bled both nostrils.)
11 5 FAT DRAGON (CD130) M W Leung B Worked forward to eventually cross and lead the fence near the 1400M. Was collard after the 400m, and gave ground quickly.
12 10 SHAM SHUI PO (CL182) C Y Ho SR/V Raced 3 wide with cover on the circle, in about a midfield position. Was a beaten horse turning for home.
