8 4 SUPER GENKI (CH195) B Prebble B/TT Raced in last position along the rails with cover. Kept to the inside in the straight and whacked away at the same pace over the final furlong.
9 7 HAPPY EAGLE (CL347) B Doyle CP Settled worse than midfield the fence. Only plodded home.
10 1 VIVA GUY (CK318) D Whyte B Jumped on terms then from a wide barrier was taken back. Was unable to gain cover and was posted 3 wide midfield for most of the trip. Never likely.
11 8 MY WAY (CJ203) W C Marwing B Showed no early speed and settled at the rear of the field on the rails. Worked off the fence after the 900m racing 2-3 wide with cover. Failed to close off.
12 12 RAIN OF THUNDER (CJ352) Y T Cheng BO Travelled 3 wide behind midfield with cover. Struggled in the run to the line.
