2 8 BULB ELITE (A183) U Rispoli V-/TT- Eased back early to settle towards the rear of the field. Widest in the straight, but stayed on strongly and flashed home to steal 2nd late.
3 9 FALCON TURBO (B164) D Whyte -- Dropped back early, before settling just behind midfield. Wide on the turn. Showed good turn of foot from 250m, and was just beaten for 2nd late.
4 7 SO FAST (S419) C Wong B/E Pressed forward to share early lead, before being crossed at 900m. Battled on solidly early in the straight, but peaked in the last 50m and lost a place.
5 3 LUCKY HERO (B057) Z Purton B1/TT Bumped on jumping, but recovered to settle around midfield. Clear run in the straight and stayed on solidly without threatening a place.
6 5 EAGLE (B106) C Schofield -- Broke well, but eased forward soon after to settle forward of midfield. Battled on solidly early in the straight before running to the line 1 paced under minimal urging in final 150m.
7 11 ROYAL MOJITO (A261) M F Poon TT Eased out early and settled towards the rear of the field. Came inside off heels after missing a run at 300m. Plugged away steadily without threatening in the straight and not pushed last 50m.
8 14 MAJESTIC ENDEAVOUR (A399) K C Ng TT Cruised forward early and settled around midfield. Battled on fairly early in straight, before running 1 paced late.
9 4 MIDNIGHT RATTLER (T371) S Clipperton B Settled around midfield. Taken 3 wide no cover at 700m. Never responded in the straight and wasn't pushed out for last 175m.
10 1 SWEET LEADER (B347) K Teetan TT1 Dropped back early from the wide draw to settle a clear 2nd last. Picked off some slower ones late, but never in it.
11 12 BORNTOACHIEVE (T313) H N Wong XB Pressed forward early to settle 5th/6th, on the fence. Never responded in the straight and dropped out quickly from 200m.
12 6 WAKEY (B252) W M Lai TT Pressed forward to share early lead, before being crossed at 900m. Never responded to pressure early in the straight, and was quietly ridden from the 150m.
13 10 MR RIGHT (T334) M Chadwick H/P Pushed forward from the wide draw to eventually lead passing 900m. Nothing in the tank late and dropped out quickly from 350m.
14 2 RACING FIGHTER (B285) T Berry CP1 Dropped back early from the wide draw to sit long last. Struggled to keep up and compounded badly in the straight and was eased out. Jockey questioned. Unacceptable performance.
