4 5 STAR RISE (K516) M F Poon XB Began awkwardly, settled down 2-wide behind midfield in a steadily run race, closed off moderately final 300M to take 4th.
5 12 HEALTHY HEALTHY (H203) H Bentley B/TT Went forward to lead setting steady tempo, kept going well early straight and led them to near 150M, weakened late stages.
6 11 LIGHT YEARS GLORY (K204) M Chadwick CP/TT Jumped on terms, restrained to race behind midfield, kept on mildly passing 400M and was always held by leaders.
7 1 CHATEAUNEUF (J219) H Bowman CP/TT Chased leaders on inside, held 3rd until 300M, couldn't sprint as well as rivals under top weight, faded final stages and could not be fully ridden out late when positioned close to another runner.
8 9 STAR SATYR (K231) Y L Chung TT Jumped only fairly, eased back to the rear 6Ls back, failed to make much progress in the straight. Never dangerous.
9 10 COPARTNER FLEET (K342) K Teetan -- From wide draw made some use to obtain a position outside the lead in early stages, held 2nd spot until inside 300M, no extra late stages.
10 7 WOLF COMING (K353) R Kingscote TT From wide draw shifted across behind runners, settled near last 5-6Ls back, failed to run on passing 400M. Never a threat.
11 3 SAVVY BRILLIANT (J437) A Atzeni E/XB/TT Caught racing wide no cover in a position towards the rear, didn't respond to riding and soon left behind turning into straight. (No Vet findings.)
