2 9 DANCING CODE (G365) A Badel TT Went forward from draw 12 but had to make some use to obtain the lead from rivals, went very fast 1200M to 900M, held off pursuing rivals well in the run home and was only headed in the final strides.
3 2 PATCH OF THETA (H485) H Bowman XB Jumped fairly from draw 11, taken back to last 7-8Ls off the pace middle stages, wide into straight before closing off nicely to take 3rd. Nearest finish.
4 10 SKY TRUST (J161) M Chadwick TT Commenced well, led early stages before taking up a trailing position behind leaders, loomed a threat 300M, fought on well towards the line for 4th.
5 1 TOMODACHI KOKOROE (H303) H Bentley BO/TT From draw 1 took up a handy position just behind leaders, fought hard under top weight in the straight but couldn't quicken enough to be a threat.
6 7 AERIS NOVA (J534) K C Leung B/XB/TT Jumped awkwardly, held up behind midfield, swung wide from 500M, kept on steadily to the line without posing serious threat to leaders.
7 12 GUSTOSISIMO (J303) A Atzeni TT Chased leader, challenged seriously for the lead top of straight, held 2nd until nearing 100M, no extra late stages lost several places.
8 4 LIGHT YEARS CHARM (K130) Z Purton -- Slightly slow away, settled near last, switched widest 600M before closing off fairly in the straight.
9 3 PACKING HERMOD (J277) M Guyon V Settled down 2-wide in midfield, raced keenly middle stages, checked 700M, responded fairly to riding final 400M and was never a threat to leaders. (Blood in trachea.)
10 5 BEAUTY ETERNAL (H008) B Avdulla PC-/E Caught racing 3-wide without cover in mid-division, pushed along 500M but failed to run on.
11 6 JOHANNES BRAHMS (K014) M F Poon TT1 Jumped only fairly, settled towards the rear along the inside, 5Ls to make up 400M but couldn't muster the pace to challenge.
12 8 CAPITAL DELIGHT (H262) M L Yeung B- Jumped only fairly, settled down in midfield, couldn't go on passing 300M, weakened rapidly to finish last. (No Vet findings.)
