2 4 RISING FORCE (K236) R Kingscote -- Tracked leader on inside, came with a strong looking challenge 250M, tried hard but was always held by the winner. (Jockey - given the option of obtaining cover if circumstances permitted.)
3 2 GENEVA (J114) H Bowman -- Settled towards the rear, had some work to do top of the straight, held up 350M then hit the line well to claim 3rd. Encouraging run after lengthy break.
4 6 AURIO (K056) Z Purton SR/TT Bumped on jumping, obtained a 2-wide position midfield, had every chance turning home but couldn't quicken enough final 200M to challenge for a top three finish.
5 9 WUKONG JEWELLERY (K314) H Bentley P-/TT Not hurried early stages, given a waiting ride behind mid-division, brought wide to challenge passing 400M before staying on steadily for modest 5th.
6 10 ARMOUR WAR EAGLE (J039) A Atzeni CP/TT Taken back to the rear from wide draw, remained in last 400M 5Ls to make up, came from well back and made some inroads, but couldn't get into it.
7 7 ANODE (K367) E C W Wong B/TT Jumped on terms, settled down behind midfield, 3-4Ls off leader coming into straight but responded only fairly and failed to trouble leaders.
8 11 SUPERB KING (K479) A Badel XB/CP2 Never far off leaders in 4th place, moved up to 2nd early straight, run ended 200M and faded away.
9 1 LUCY IN THE SKY (J275) M Guyon TT From draw 1 stayed close enough to leaders, was repeatedly denied for clear running in the home straight before easing off final 150M when no chance.
10 5 HOTT SHOTT (L147) M F Poon H1/TT Settled in the back half of the field 6Ls off leader, couldn't go on passing 300M, dropped out rapidly well beaten.
11 8 IRON SECURITY (L174) K C Leung CP2/TT2 Pushed to a forward position just outside leader, struggled to keep up entering home straight, weakened away badly to finish last.
