4 1 SOUTH STAR (K153) C L Chau H/TT No luck from the widest gate and trapped 3 wide no cover early stages 5Ls or so behind the leader, slowly improving 750m out being forced 4 wide, chased on gamely.
5 10 REFUSETOBEENGLISH (K362) A Atzeni B/TT Showed no early pace and settled to be the last few on the rail, briefly held up in the last 100M, travelled strongly to the line, did not disgrace at all.
6 6 LIFELINE EXPRESS (H439) D B McMonagle E Ridden along early to be 3 back the rail, travelled cozily in the run, moved off the fence 550m out, shifted back in for more racing room final stages and only stayed the same pace thereafter (See Incident Report).
7 4 CITY GOLD BANNER (L155) Z Purton TT Jumped ok and settled midfield one off the rail, angled out for a run 600M out, lacked a finishing effort and outsprinted (See Incident Report).
8 7 COMPLETE UNKNOWN (L219) K C Leung SR-/H1/TT1 Away well from the inside draw and trailed the leader, finished off only fairly.
9 5 GOLDEN CHAMP (L135) Y L Chung SR-/V/TT1 Ran out of room and bumped after leaving the stalls, went back to be 2nd last soon after, swung for home to be the widest, produced some minor progress in the final stages, crying out for a longer trip.
10 8 PRESTIGE WIN (L248) L Hewitson -- Jumped on terms and utilised his early pace to take up the front-running position, run ended at 200m, soon headed and weakened considerably.
