6 7 SENSIBLE WAY (CA175) H K Yim SR Pushed forward to dispute lead in a line of 4 runners. Struggled to keep up 400 M out and dropped away steadily.
7 3 SPLENDID STAR (CA222) C Williams -- Broke well and shared lead early, steadily eased to travel 3 wide in midfield 3 or 4Ls off pace 800 M out. Stayed same in straight before getting tired inside final 100 M.
8 6 SNIPPETYIYEA (CB311) S Dye -- Began very awkwardly, nearly fell and lost a lot of ground. Remained last before running on a bit towards inner from 400 M passing well beaten runners.
9 10 EXPEDIENT (BT046) S K Sit -- Driven to dispute lead, unable to keep up passing the 600 M and dropped right out.
10 9 BOBO DUCK (CA063) Y T Cheng V Not far away early out wide, steadily eased and shifted inwards toward rear of midfield going into back stretch. Dropped back further before home bend, no impression in home straight.
11 1 KEV BUSHIDO (BV166) M W Leung SR Caught very wide from difficult draw and was never on terms. Steadily dropped towards rear 900 M out, last on straightening when checked.
