5 10 MULTIWINNING (CC083) S Dye B Settled on fence in rear early on, at least 15Ls off the lead at the 900 M, still rear and 8Ls down turning for home, 6Ls down 200 M out, ran on very strongly to be nearest at the finish.

7 1 TRICCOLO (CA247) W C Marwing -- Shifted in at the 1400 M to race 2 and 3-wide and about 6Ls off the pace in 4th place 800 M out, niggled along 600 M out to get closer, all out to remain 3Ls off the pace entering straight, faded.
8 12 GLORIOUS LIGHT (CC115) Y T Cheng -- Was crowded and became unbalanced 1400 M out, 8Ls off pace and 2-wide 800 M out, 5Ls down and 2-wide entering homestretch, didn't quicken up.
9 9 INDUBITABLY BLISS (CA058) F Coetzee TT Checked 1400 M out and forced wider, raced 3-wide without cover down back straight when no better than 8Ls off the pace, 5Ls down and 4-wide into home straight, soon faded.
10 8 CENTURY HORSE (BT267) E Saint-Martin -- Always in rear, on fence 10Ls off the pace and 2-wide 1200 M out, 8Ls down and 2-wide into home straight, never a factor.
11 4 RUN AND WIN (CA131) S K Sit B Soon led, shot 4Ls clear from 1200 M to 600 M out, was headed at top of home straight, weakened very rapidly.
