7 2 DANRIVA (CA040) S Dye -- On fence 8Ls off pace in 10th at 1100 M, 7Ls behind in rear at the 800 M and into home straight when 3-wide, ran on well but much too late.
8 9 FANTASTIC STAR (CC294) D Whyte -- 2-wide and 2Ls behind leader in 4th at the 1200 M, tended to lay in at the 600 M, 3-wide entering straight when over 2Ls down in 2nd, faded thereafter.
9 1 MASTER GIGOLO (CC375) A Marcus -- Slowly away, 6Ls off the speed in 9th and on fence at 1100 M, caught 3-wide without cover at the 700 M, 3Ls down and 4-wide into home straight when vying for a place, no extra and faded.
10 7 ABLE MARSHALL (CB336) W M Lai -- On fence 4Ls behind the leader in 5th at the 1100 M, still 5Ls behind but in 6th and ridden along entering straight, one-paced thereafter.
11 12 SUPER CATCHER (CD233) Y T Cheng -- No speed and switched towards fence from wide gate, 11Ls last at the 1200 M, 7Ls down and one from rear off home turn, made no headway.
12 4 EVER SUCCESS (CB229) C Williams B 2-wide and 1L off pace in 2nd at the 1200 M, same 700 M when niggled along, swamped 600 M out, soon in trouble, beaten on straightening.
