4 12 FLYING SUCCESS (CB113) P H Lo -- Unable to muster early speed to race in a rearward position. Under pressure 400 M out and made up steady ground inside final 200 M to miss 3rd place by a short margin.
5 5 REAL PARTNER (CD313) A Delpech TT1 Broke fairly and niggled along to race in midfield or worse. Under pressure 400 M out and made up little ground inside final 200 M to be closest at finish.
6 9 KEEP ON EASY (CC263) B Doyle TT On jumping bounded in the air and lost ground. Steadily recovered lost ground after the 600 M. Went forward to challenge the leader near the 300 M but was unable to sustain effort final 150 M. Weakened close home.
