3 4 SWEETIE (CB036) H W Lai B/TT 3 wide with cover slightly worse than midfield on back straight. Shifted out for a strong run after straightening. Finished strongly over concluding stages and provided late contest for the 2nd place.
4 11 KIWI DASH (CC281) O Doleuze CP/TT Was slow to begin. Last runner on fence over 8Ls from winner at 800 M. Tailed at 400 M. Made up good ground inside 250 M on the outside. Narrowly missed a place.
5 2 RISING WIN (CC089) E Saint-Martin V- Travelled midfield or worse. 2 wide at least 4Ls from winner. Made nice ground between runners to be closest at finish.
6 9 KID GALAXY (CB455) S Sanders B/TT Raced prominently about 2Ls off pace on fence. 6th rounding home. Did not quicken early part of the straight. Ran on little final 50 M but made no difference to position.
7 8 DANEPRINT (CC221) W M Lai B2 2 wide 3Ls off pace with cover at 1200 M. Shifted wider for clear running after straightening. Kept on but found no extra to stay in contention final stages.
8 5 LA MERVEILLE (CC205) G Schofield H Raced behind midfield on fence. At least 6Ls from winner at 800 M. Stayed on well and not fully tested inside final 300 M when without a clear run.
9 13 JOY AND TREASURE (CD251) Y T Cheng V/TT Crowded for room on jumping. Raced rearward on back straight. 2nd last to enter home straight. Shifted wide for running after straightening. Made some impression over concluding stages.
10 6 NOBLE ZOOM (CC298) G Mosse -- Tracked leader until final 200 M. Kept on steadily down inner of straight without quickening.
11 1 DEFLECT (CD094) S K Sit TT Midfield. Raced wide without cover throughout. Kept on steadily after straightening, one paced until finish and never a threat.
12 7 MAGNIFICENT (CB390) D Whyte B Began awkwardly and lost ground. Last few entering the straight, shifted out for better running. Same pace until the line and never improved position.
