2 8 FELLOWSHIP (CG292) O Doleuze TT Allowed to drift back from a wide alley, ended up 6Ls back in 2 wide line, overraced when tempo slackened, still well back turning, came to middle and closed race off stoutly taking plenty of ground off winner.
3 10 FLYING TAMARI (CG151) G Mosse -- Standard jump, ended up 6Ls or so away on rails, harmed by tempo and raced keenly, saved ground on circle, switched out at 400 M and kept closing gradually to snare 3rd. Improved run.
4 4 SUPREME GAINS (CG057) D Whyte SR Showed no pace from outset, ended up towards rear 7 to 8Ls back, not helped by standard sectionals, raced keenly on circle, near to last taking inside runs turning, made many lengths without clearest passage and not tested late.
5 12 HORACE'S CHOICE (CH169) S Dye -- Out in line, able to hold a midfield spot 4 to 5Ls back on fence, angled 2 wide on circle, in amongst horses on turn a little awkwardly, closed off evenly making gradual progress without threatening.
6 9 JADE DRAGONFLY (CE331) G Boss BO Taken back from a wide gate, raced back with last few 7 to 8Ls away, harmed by tempo, set a task on turning, weaved between horses in straight and made plenty of progress without clearest run to be nearest on line.
7 5 FEARLESS (CH301) F Coetzee -- Little pace from outset, posted 3 wide without cover 6Ls back behind midfield, did share of work to bend, same margin down turning, switched wider and made solid progress down centre.
8 3 NILOMETER (CD052) K L Chui TT Showed expected turn of foot to take up running, pressured early before slowing pace a touch, under siege throughout and steadied on bend, fought back turning but ran out of petrol last 200 M. Did too much work.
9 7 TIME SUPREME (CE012) C K Tong -- Stood flat footed and lost considerable ground, raced 10Ls back at rear, not helped when pace slowed, still had field to beat leaving bend, tracked 3 wide and switched to middle, made many lengths from impossible spot.
10 1 AGILITY (CC361) Z Purton XB Moderate beginning, assumed usual role well off pace, raced 5Ls back in midfield, made a 3 wide run on bend to take closer order from 500 M, didn't let down and battled at same pace last 300 M.
11 14 ELECTRONICS SPUR (CE285) H W Lai XB/TT Reasonable jump, took a nice position 4Ls back in running line, had no excuses trailing eventual winner in run, close enough turning, didn't have a turn of foot and weakened out tamely.
12 11 DORDENMA (CE333) Y T Cheng XB Pressed forward from outset, raced outside leader and applied pressure throughout, kept working on circle, still held a narrow leader at 400 M but couldn't dash when they sprinted at 250 M, faded quickly.
13 6 MAVERICK STAR (CE279) W M Lai -- Even jump, tried to slot in to midfield but caught 3 wide, crept closer without cover to be up outside leaders on circles, under pressure turning in, didn't respond and gradually faded when had run took toll.
14 13 FANTASTIC DANCER (CJ001) M Nunes -- Began with more purpose, raced 3Ls back on fence, not asked in mid-section, same margin down on turning, hard ridden and failed to respond, very one paced late.
