2 5 GLENEALY STAR (CH284) Y T Cheng -- Settled in 3rd position, 1 off but was carried 3-wide without cover after the 600 M. Closed of soundly only to be caught close to the wire.
3 7 MARVELLOUS (CH026) D Whyte B/TT From a wide gate was taken back to settle with the rear division, behind midfield 1 off with cover. Rolled out to be 3 deep turning for home and made up good ground inside the furlong.
4 4 DIVINE TOUCH (CG291) G Mosse -- Worked hard to reach the lead and managed to cross to the fence after the 700 M to race solo in front. Kept on soundly in the run to the post.
5 1 CHINA HERO (CH040) H W Lai B Shared the lead early on the fence before being crossed near the 700 M, and racing in 2nd position. Shifted out around leader after the 600 M, however peaked on its run over the final stages.
6 10 SURE HERO (CG122) G Boss -- Crowded for room at the start and took up a midfield position 2-wide with cover. Failed to quicken enough to overhaul the placegetters.
7 3 ASIAN CITRUS (CH246) F Coetzee TT Travelled midfield the fence, made some ground in the run home but never threatened.
8 2 PERFECT TREASURE (CH091) M Nunes TT Raced 1 off on the back of the speed, copped some tightening near the 800 M, but was a spent force early in the straight.
9 6 MY LUCK (CE256) W M Lai B/XB Began awkwardly and was then taken back behind runners. Settled at the rear of the field and battled on one paced in the straight.
10 9 TERRIFIC BRETHREN (CH298) K Shea TT1 Raced 3-wide without cover, midfield. Struggled inside the final furlong.
11 11 SERIOUS PLAY (CC003) S K Sit B Was slow to begin and settled in 2nd last position, never a factor.
12 12 NAPA (CE271) C K Tong -- Raced just behind the speed on the fence, hung in badly and commenced to give ground at the 600 M and finished tailed out. Pulled up lame, to Trial & OVE.
