3 11 THE ONLY KID (CH173) Z Purton -- Slow to begin and settled in 2nd last position on the outside fence. Closed off strongly over the latter stages.
4 14 TREASURE PLANET (CG117) H W Lai XB/H Led along the outside rail, had every chance.
5 7 FLORAL JOY II (CJ030) K L Chui XB1/TT Raced on the back of the speed well off the outside fence, couldn't sustain effort over the concluding stages.
6 13 CLASSIC HORSE (CD378) M Nunes -- Travelled just behind midfield, commenced to close off strongly over the final 300 M, ran into traffic problems and was checked near the 100 M.

10 10 NAMJONG HUNTER (CH280) B Prebble -- Settled midfield about 4 off the outside rail, struggled over the final stages.
11 3 BROWN BEAR (CH125) Y T Cheng B1 Raced towards the rear of the field, didn't make up any appreciable ground in the run to the wire.
12 6 BOUNCER (CJ074) S Dye -- Slow to begin and raced in last position, passed some tiring runners over the concluding stages.
13 9 JUGGERNAUT (CJ019) F Coetzee SR1 Raced close to the middle of the course, midfield. Weakened and gave ground passing the 300 M.
